Due to the damage to the boardwalk #1 stairs and the boardwalk, the Reserve has shut down parking lot 1 access to the beach. They expect the beach access will be closed until July sometime. Please plan your spring visits to fish this area and check with the reserve before traveling. There is access to lots 6 and 7 right now, but that may disappear when the plovers nest.
