You will not see that you have a PRIVATE MESSAGE unless you are logged on. You can however, recieve an email that tells you that you have a PM. In order to do this go to your message folder. Click on PREFERENCES in the far right corner of the blue box. Select YES to recieve email notification. If anyone has any questions just ask, I will be happy to help. There has been a PM sitting in my outbox for quite awhile. If you look in the top header it will say : Hey so n so you have X messages x are new. Messages . Click on that to get your PM's. and get to your message folder This will work if your e-mail address is up to date. I hope this helps.

Thanks for this tip, Nancy. I had no idea about this feature. I used to just read the current messages (anonymously) without logging on. Once I read your post, I logged on and really paid attention and found that I had 10 unread personal messages that dated back a year or so. (My apologies to the senders. Ugh. I wasn't ignoring you.) Anyway, now when I check out the MBBA site, I make it a point to log in so I don't miss anything. Keep the tips coming for those of us that are message board-challenged.

You can also check log on forever then you won't need to go thru the login every time you visit.

Thanks for the forever tip! I forget to log on about half the time on on. Just scrolled down and found "forever". I had not scrolled that far before!

Now if you can figure out how to shorten this summer's Plover beach closing and swap all my lead sinkers for the new improved type I'll be all set!
